Browser Recorder for Codex is experimental software for saving one explicitly approved Codex In-app Browser flow as a local H.264 MP4 recording.
Content Warning: The complete approved page viewport may include private or authenticated data and other sensitive content. Continue only if you are authorized to record it and will handle the local recording appropriately.
The fresh tab may reuse the Codex In-app Browser's existing session, and the video contains all visible embedded frames. Browser Recorder does not classify, redact, or refuse content based on authentication or sensitivity.
You must obtain informed consent from every person whose information or actions could appear in a recording. Record only the approved target, actions, and duration. You are responsible for choosing an appropriate target, complying with applicable law and site rules, obtaining any required authorization, handling and sharing the local file appropriately, and deleting it when it is no longer needed. The plugin does not add an upload or sharing path.
The plugin may fail, stop a recording, discard incomplete media, or retain a Working Recording that requires recovery or manual deletion. It is provided without warranties or guarantees of availability, fitness, or data retention.
The repository source code is licensed under the MIT License. That license governs copying, modifying, and distributing the code; these terms describe responsible use of the plugin and its locally created artifacts.
